De SNS Bank is ontstaan uit de Volksbank die al bestaan sinds 1817. Deze bank werd opgericht om de zelfredzaamheid onder Nederlanders te bevorderen en dat is tot op de dag van vandaag een belangrijk voor de SNS. Het is een toegankelijke bank die altijd klaar staat voor haar klanten.
